US Water Score is an independent informational service. Its grades are internal screening scores, not EPA ratings, laboratory results for a specific home, or determinations that water is safe or unsafe.

Data limitations

Public records can be incomplete, delayed, revised, or mapped to more than one ZIP code. Conditions at an individual tap can differ because of service lines, building plumbing, treatment, and sampling dates.

Do not rely on this site for urgent decisions

Use your utility's current Consumer Confidence Report, official notices, certified laboratory testing, and qualified medical or environmental advice where appropriate. In an emergency, follow instructions from local authorities.
